The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tyre Mount Kit will securely mount up to a 35" tyre when bolted to your stock tailgate (replacing your stock tyre carrier) and gives plenty of up/down and in/out adjustment, or up to a 37" tire and wheel combo *when used in conjunction with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tyre Carrier (Sold separately) which is recommended to decrease the load on your tailgate hinges. With a standard OEM carrier costing R9k from Jeep in SA, this is a great replacement.

Designed to accommodate up to a 35" tyre (up to a 37" tyre when used with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tyre Carrier – (NOT included) the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tyre Mount Kit secures your spare tyre over the most extreme trails and rugged terrain. It also provides easy access to the rear cargo area in one smooth action.
The Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tyre Mount Kit will help support the additional weight of a full-size spare tire by securely mounting the tire to the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tyre Carrier (preferable) or stock tailgate. Complete adjustability includes vertical as well as fore and aft adjustments. The heavily gusseted tyre mount is formed and welded from CNC laser cut steel for superior strength. Although the Alpha HD Adjustable Spare Tyre Mount Kit can be used alone it has been designed to be installed in conjunction with the Alpha HD Hinged Spare Tire Carrier.
