The MyChron 6 GPS lap timer revolutionises how drivers and teams monitor and analyse performance on track.
Due to its highly accurate 25Hz GPS tracking, large screen displaying delta times and comprehensive data logging capabilities, the MyChron 6 provides detailed performance analysis from split times and overall delta time, racing lines, cornering speeds and braking points.
There is an advanced heart rate monitoring feature (compatible with the most common heart rate monitors) perfect for capturing the adrenaline-fuelled highs and lows of track days and races. If you wish to measure your heart rate while racing, simply connect the heart rate monitor to your MyChron 6 via Bluetooth.
Temp sensors with the Mychron 6
With the MyChron 6, you can run a single temperature sensor to monitor your engine more precisely. Choose from:
- Water Temperature Sensors (Comes with your MyChron6): Available in M10 (for Rotax, X30, OK) and M5 gearbox versions, these sensors track coolant temps to prevent overheating, with the M5 also being useful for monitoring gearbox water cooling in shifter karts.
- Cylinder Head Temperature (CHT) Sensor: This under plug sensor measures combustion heat, helping detect overheating from lean mixtures or aggressive tuning. (Available Separately)
- Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Sensors: M5 and T12 sensors monitor exhaust temps to fine-tune fuel mixture and optimise performance. (Available Separately)
Excellent screen clarity
MyChron6 features a wide 320x136 pixel graphical display to have all the data under control.
With the new dedicated pages layout, split times, overall delta time and heart rate will be easily and promptly monitored.
The screen can be backlited in one of the eight available colors.
The incorporated light sensor makes brightness and contrast ideal in all light conditions; MyChron6 display will be always readable and clear even in the most intense phases of the competition.
Be your own coach
The screen features a new page layout focused only on your purpouse: beat your best time, every lap.
The new layout, featuring delta time and delta bargraph from the reference lap, provides constant visibility of this key element. It empowers immediate and effective coaching, clearly highlighting areas of improvement and those requiring further attention.
Bluetooth Connectivity
Experience seamless connectivity with the new advanced Bluetooth module of MyChron6. If you wish to measure your heart rate while racing, simply connect via Bluetooth the Heart rate monitor to your MyChron6 and look the data on-screen or download them after the race. Compatible with the most common heart rate monitor on the market.
Wi-Fi
Easy wireless data download via Wi-Fi: no need for data keys or PC connections. Update your device over Wi-Fi to ensure it always has the latest features and improvements.
Second CAN
The second CAN is dedicated to connect external modules requiring CAN communication protocols.

6 axis inertial platform
MyChron6 is equipped with a powerful 6-axis inertial platform (IMU), measuring accelerations and angular velocities at 100 Hz, which allows for highly accurate steering wheel position tracking.
Improved GPS
MyChron6 features an internal, high precision, 25 Hz four navigation satellite systems (GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo) receiver and an internal database including information about the track: just switched ON, it automatically recognizes the track and gets the information about the Starting Line Position and the Time Zone. The precision of the calculated Lap Times is 1/100 of second.
Track Database
MyChron6 can recognize the finish line coordinates of thousands of tracks all over the world.
Opening RaceStudio 3 you will see the huge list of tracks included in the AiM database, sorted by Nation, circuit and surface type: you will be able to create your own collection, adding/removing tracks. Should your home track be missing, after one lap its coordinates will be automatically detected by MyChron6 GPS and if you wish - once downloaded onto your PC - will be sent to AiM software Dept. to be included in the database.
Up to 20 working hours
Thanks to the ultimate large high-performance battery pack and low-consumption electronics with up to 20 hours of autonomy, MyChron6 will be your reliable companion on the track without the need for recharging.
Advanced Display
The MyChron 6 features a wide graphical display, ensuring excellent readability. Brightness and contrast are automatically adjusted to maintain ideal visibility in all lighting conditions, and this allows drivers to clearly monitor not only their best vs current sector times, but also their heart rate, delta, delta bar graphs and more, allowing real time adjustments to be made, improving lap performance.
LED & Alarms System
5 RGB shift lights can be customised to display delta lap times or function as traditional shift indicators. The 2 RGB alarm LEDs provide real time engine monitoring of vehicle temperature, ensuring the kart operates within optimal parameters and preventing overheating or potential damage.
Data Recall
At the end of the test you can recall sampled data. Data recall is available in two types of race, road and oval (oval type is only available in US version). You'll have all the information of the tests taken, with different pages and dedicated views, on best lap times, best splits, best rolling lap time and the best theoretical lap, RPM graph and histograms.
RaceStudio 3 Analysis
Your data can be downloaded (via cable, Wi-Fi or Mini USB storage) and analysed in depth on your PC with (free to download) RaceStudio 3 software: charts, graphs and histograms will help you to understand your performance, finding out what needs to be improved.
You can compare the data that cannot be show on displays, with a lot of dedicated views like track split report, channel report, automatically synchronized SmartyCam videos and others data visualization, comparing also different sessions.
